5 teams who should pursue a trade for Colts QB Jacoby Brissett at the deadline

This would again be an insurance role for Brissett, with Derek Carr and the Raiders off to a 2-2 start and Carr has been performing fairly well.

But the backup is Nathan Peterman, who from what fans have seen from his days in Buffalo, it’s amazing that he still has a job in the NFL. Marcus Mariota is on the injured reserve (shocker) and if something happened to Carr, the Raiders would be screwed at the quarterback position.

It wouldn’t cost the Raiders a lot to bring in Colts’ quarterback Jacoby Brissett to play the backup role and it couldn’t hurt to upgrade the position.

The Raiders are in a spot where they could get one of the three wild card spots, but if Carr goes down, Peterman won’t be the guy to lead him there.
