The Colts have had numerous impact players lost to injury this season, and Jeffrey could come in as a replacement, assuming he gets healthy.

Indianapolis lost Parris Campbell to a knee injury, and Michael Pittman Jr. to a calf injury which required surgery.

The Colts brought in Philip Rivers this season as a bridge in an effort to contend, and through five games, Indianapolis is over .500 at 3-2.

Indianapolis has been decimated by injuries at receiver, and Alshon Jeffery would need to be healthy for any of these scenarios to work. But if he’s healthy, the Colts could use him.
