San Francisco 49ers

The San Francisco 49ers have dealt with multiple injuries at running back this season, and like the other teams on this list, they could use Bell if he’s healthy.

It wasn’t all that long ago that Bell was deciding on his next destination as a free agent. The Jets made the best offer, but another team who made a serious effort to sign Bell was the 49ers.

Clearly, San Francisco’s brass liked Bell enough to pursue him all the way up until his final decision to join the Jets.

Now that the 49ers have dealt with multiple injuries at running back, Bell could become an intriguing fall back option.

Bell would have a better chance to contend in San Francisco than in New York, where the Jets are still in search of their first win.
