4. Will Bill O’Brien Be On the Hot Seat?

There were many people calling for Bill O’Brien’s job as head coach following the 2019 season. The Houston Texans decided to go in the complete opposite direction and make him the general manager. What a mistake this was.

The schedule makers did not do the Texans any favors early on. Their first two games were against the Chiefs and Ravens. In Week 3, they will go up against the dominant defense of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Texans are getting outscored 67-36 over the first two weeks. There was an instance against the Ravens where Houston went for it on fourth down deep in their own territory in the second quarter.

The unfortunate truth is that this is not going to change anytime soon in Houston. O’Brien is the general manager as well as the head coach. This team will be stuck in limbo until O’Brien does not have full control.
