3. Three Coaches Need to Be Fired Immediately

There are three favorites when discussing which head coach will be the first to be fired. Those three are Adam Gase, Matt Patricia, and Dan Quinn.

Gase should not have been brought back. He was and ownership gave him a vote of confidence after Week 1. That should be taken back immediately. The first play of the game Sunday went 80 yards for a touchdown by Raheem Mostert. The Jets allowed a 55-yard run on third-and-31. This is an inept team led by their head coach. This is a coach that kicks a field goal from the seven-yard line late in the third quarter down 24-3. Jets, it’s time to admit you made a mistake and just cut ties with Gase.

In Detroit, Patricia led the Lions to yet another loss. They gained an early 14-3 lead over the Green Bay Packers and were outscored 39-7 over the final three quarters. Meanwhile in Dallas, Dan Quinn and the Atlanta Falcons were busy blowing a huge lead. Atlanta led 20-0 early on and continued strong with a 39-24 lead late in the fourth quarter. In the end, it was Greg Zuerlein giving the Cowboys a 40-39 victory. This is a typical Falcon loss during the Quinn era.

It is getting comical that these three coaches are leading NFL teams. They are capable coordinators but not fit for a head coaching gig. It would be shocking to see any of the three back in 2021 because they should not last this season.
