Minnesota Vikings
Early in free agency, the Minnesota Vikings completed a trade with the Buffalo Bills involving Stefon Diggs. In exchange for the big-play wide receiver, the Vikings were able to net Buffalo’s first-round pick.
As a result, Minnesota holds the No. 22 and No. 25 picks in the first round, giving them five picks in the first three rounds of the NFL Draft. While the Vikings could choose to stand pat early in the draft, they have more than enough picks to move up and select the players they have atop their draft board.
Altogether, the Vikings have 12 draft picks to work with in this year’s NFL Draft. Provided that, it’s tough to envision them not manufacturing a trade early in the draft.
