7 underrated NFL rookies that fans should keep a close eye on

Bryce Hall, Giants, NFL Draft

Bryce Hall

Early in the pre-draft process, Bryce Hall was once considered a fringe first-round pick, early second-round pick. But for some odd reason, Hall fell to the fifth round, where he was selected by the New York Jets.

Nevertheless, by being drafted by the Jets, Hall could have a chance to earn a prominent role in New York’s defense early in his career. Even with the signing of Pierre Desir and the possible addition of Logan Ryan, Hall could be thrust into a starting job sooner rather than later.

In college at Virginia, Hall accumulated five interceptions and 38 pass breakups in four seasons. If he can translate his game to the NFL, Hall could finally give New York a reliable cornerback in their secondary next season.
