Kenny Willekes
Again, there were plenty of undervalued players that fell in the 2020 NFL Draft, becoming steals for the teams that finally selected them. But taking everything into account, none of them might be a bigger steal than Kenny Willekes in the seventh round by the Minnesota Vikings.
The consensus for Willekes was that he’d be a mid-round selection for a team that needed a rotational edge rusher. Nonetheless, he somehow fell to the seventh round, until the Vikings refused to pass on him.
With the uncertainty surrounding a reunion with Everson Griffen, Willekes could have an immediate impact in Minnesota’s defense. Regardless of his numbers, Willekes is a relentless pass rusher that could excel in Mike Zimmer’s defense.
