Baltimore Ravens: 3 Goals for Michael Crabtree in 2018

USA TODAY Sports

Rack Up 1,000 Receiving Yards

The second goal for Crabtree should be to surpass 1,000 receiving yards. This is a feat he’s done just twice since joining the NFL in 2009. He achieved this once with the San Francisco 49ers and once with the Oakland Raiders. This is another goal that is absolutely able to be procured, especially with the opportunities he’ll get in the Ravens offense.

We could see a lot more big plays from Crabtree this season, as Flacco loves to throw the ball deep. This could benefit Crabtree tremendously in his goal to reach 1,000 yards this season. Crabtree will need about 63 yards a game to attain this milestone this season. I think he can easily land 1,000 yards this year in an offense that wants to do a better job putting the ball in the air.

Getting 1,000 yards isn’t as big of a deal anymore with the league teetering towards being more of a pass heavy league now. Last season, we saw 15 guys reach 1,000 yards. So look for Crabtree to try joining the 1,000 yard club this season for the third time in his career.
