Ravens Predicted To Sign Intriguing Wide Receiver in Free Agency

The Baltimore Ravens are clearly in need of some more weapons in their aerial attack, but with limited cap space heading into the offseason, they may need to be extra resourceful.

Brad Spielberger of Pro Football Focus sees a solid second-tier target for the Ravens in that capacity: Minnesota Vikings wide receiver K.J. Osborn.

Osborn will certainly not be one of the top wide outs on the market, but he could unquestionably represent a cost-effective option for a Baltimore team that needs to add some depth to its receiving corps, especially with Odell Beckham Jr. and Nelson Agholor set to become free agents.

Osborn is coming off of a 2023 campaign in which he played 16 games and caught 48 passes for 540 yards and three touchdowns.

The 26-year-old, who played his collegiate football at the University of Miami, was selected by the Vikings in the fifth round of the 2020 NFL Draft.

He didn’t log a single catch during his rookie campaign, but in his second year, Osborn’s role grew significantly, as he snared 50 balls for 655 yards and seven scores.

In his third season, Osborn posted very similar numbers, hauling in 60 receptions for 650 yards while reaching the end zone five times.

Minnesota will likely be working on a new deal for star receiver Justin Jefferson and also has Jordan Addison in tow, so it will probably feel comfortable allowing Osborn to walk this March.

That would allow teams like the Ravens to check in and see what Osborn’s demands are.

Behind Zay Flowers, Baltimore has very limited depth at the receiver position. Osborn would not completely solve the problem, but he would certainly help.

The Ravens could then continue to address the issue at wide receiver through the NFL Draft.

Baltimore finished with the league’s best record at 13-4 this season but ultimately lost to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game.
