Khalil Mack, Bears

The Chicago Bears are entering the 2020 NFL season as a massive underdog in the NFC North. After a massively disappointing 2019 campaign, Khalil Mack and company are looking to prove a point this year. They are looking to prove that they are still a threat in the NFC.

Last season, the Bears finished the year with a 8-8 record. Mack had a down season as well.

When everything was said and done, the superstar pass rusher still made an impact but was not as good as many were expecting. He racked up 47 total tackles to go along with 8.5 sacks, five forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, and four defended passes on the season.

Looking ahead to the upcoming season, the Bears are going to need a bigger year from Mack. He was still a massive threat to opposing quarterbacks, but not quite as much as he was in 2018. Mack will be looking to put up even bigger numbers this year.

All of that being said, let’s dive in and take a look at two massive bold predictions for Khalil Mack in 2020 with the Bears.

  1. Remember a lot of those forced fumbles were when he was rushing against the LT, considering it was just short of being part the contract with Quinn that he rush from the right side which would be against the LT which would be the QB’s blind side. The hypothetically increased Forced fumbles totals might do too Quinn and not Mack

  2. If there was ever a BEAR team more loaded with talent in all the key positions than this squad, I don’t recall. (and I’ve been a BEARFAN for almost seven decades! Great things are expected of great talent and the expectations of these BEAR players are categorically out of this universe. Don’t care if we have to use cardboard cutouts in the seats of Soldier’s Field, and pipe in some crowd noise, maybe from Seattle, this year is a gargantuan opportunity to excel regardless of whether we play 6-10-12 or 16 games. Let’s get ready to RUMBLE!
