The Chicago Bears are coming up on one of their most important seasons in recent memory, because with this being the fourth season with Matt Nagy as their head coach, this franchise needs to improve on what happened last season.

Chicago was just an average team in 2019 after making the playoffs the season before. The Bears finished 8-8 overall, were third place in the NFC North and didn’t have much to show for them at the quarterback position.

This offseason, that changed a bit with the Bears adding Nick Foles at quarterback to compete with Mitchell Trubisky for the starting quarterback role. In all honesty, the 2019 season for the Bears seemed like a season where they never fully recovered from their “double doink” playoff loss from the previous season, and it showed in the final standings.

The 2020 season for the Bears needs to go much differently, as their goals need to be simple and to the point. This franchise can’t afford to slip up and get behind the likes of the Green Bay Packers and the Minnesota Vikings if they want to compete for an NFC North championship late in the upcoming 2020 season.

Next are four goals for the Chicago Bears to achieve in 2020 if they want to have success and return to the playoffs.
