Best Fantasy Football sleepers in the AFC West in 2021

Football season is finally back and one of the most exciting parts of that is predicting who the breakout stars will be and trying to steal them during your Fantasy Football draft. Fantasy Football has made the polarizing sport of football even more engaging and exciting throughout the years and the hype train is sure to continue it’s momentum in 2021.

Sleeper picks are almost always the players that wind up securing the league championship and having the biggest impact for your squad in the long run, and we’re here to break down a sleeper pick from each team in the AFC West in 2021 that you should look to draft in the later rounds.

Without further delay, let’s dive in and take a look at the biggest sleeper for each team in the division.

Kansas City Chiefs: Demarcus Robinson, Wide Receiver

The Chiefs have one of the most explosive offenses in the entire NFL and that has been proven time and time again. All throughout the 2020 season, it was a toss up as to which Chiefs receiver was going to have the biggest game, and one of the guys that could fill that role in 2021 is Demarcus Robinson.

Robinson has great speed and hands and he could torch a lot of teams deep all throughout the season. He is expected to fill the void left by Sammy Watkins, and I fully expect him to do a great job of doing just that. Robinson is a target to keep an eye on as the Fantasy Football drafts begin to fire up.

Denver Broncos: Noah Fant, Tight End

The Broncos have a very interesting team coming into the 2021 season and they could see a variety of stars emerge into top tier talent. One of those guys who could mold into an emerging star is tight end Noah Fant.

Fant is going to see the majority of the workload at the tight end position, and with Drew Lock’s future with the team being uncertain, he could opt to throw safer routes to Fant instead of forcing the ball down the field. If Lock does wind up being sidelined, Teddy Bridgewater is a quarterback who loves to throw to the tight end, which could skyrocket Fant’s value in 2021. Fant is surely a target worth owning this fantasy season.

Las Vegas Raiders: Henry Ruggs III, Wide Receiver

Henry Ruggs III didn’t have a major impact during his rookie season, but he could change that narrative in 2021. Ruggs was drafted to be a star receiver for Derek Carr to throw to down the field, but he had his fair share of rookie blunders in 2020.

However, Ruggs could turn things around moving forward and could emerge into a top tier talent at the wide receiver position for Fantasy Football owners across the world to awe at. He may still be a mid-round draft pick in some fantasy drafts, but Ruggs could easily emerge into a top three round pick in future drafts with a strong season.

Los Angeles Chargers: Jared Cook, Tight End

Jared Cook spent the past two seasons with the New Orleans Saints, but he is now embarking on a new stepping stone with a new squad. The Chargers signed Jared Cook to a contract this offseason to replace the void left by Hunter Henry, and he could be a breakout star at the position.

Cook is a two-time Pro Bowler in his career and he could thrive with a young star in Justin Herbert throwing him passes. He likely will be available late into most Fantasy Football drafts, but taking a chance on him could have big rewards down the road.
