Josh Allen, Gabriel Davis, and the Buffalo Bills came so close to defeating the Kansas City Chiefs in their Divisional Round matchup at Arrowhead Stadium. In the instant classic, the Chiefs emerged victorious in overtime, winning 42-36. With the Bills out of the playoffs, everyone is preparing for the Super Bowl that will feature Matthew Stafford and the Los Angeles Rams taking on Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals.

The Bills just couldn’t close the deal in the fourth quarter, as 13 seconds proved to be too much time left for Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs offense to get into field goal range and force the game into overtime.

The offense certainly did their part, as they put up points matching the explosive Kansas City offense all game. One of the stars of the offense was second year wide receiver, Gabriel Davis. The UCF product had a performance for the ages, as he broke loose for monster gains all night.

Davis ended the game with eight receptions for 206 yards and four touchdowns. Two of those scores came after the two-minute warning in the fourth quarter to put into perspective how explosive these offenses were at the end of the game, as 24 total points were scored following the two-minute warning.

Had the Bills hosted the Cincinnati Bengals in the AFC Championship Game, maybe things would have turned out differently. Buffalo will be watching the Super Bowl from home like the rest of us, as the Bengals advanced to the big game to take on the Los Angeles Rams.

Davis recently made an appearance on The Richard Sherman Podcast and discussed the upcoming Super Bowl matchup. During the discussion, Rams’ quarterback Matthew Stafford was discussed and Davis had some glowing remarks about him, as he believes Stafford is a top-three quarterback in the NFL.

After spending the first 12 years of his career with the Detroit Lions and finding virtually no team success, Stafford has helped lead the Rams to the Super Bowl in his first season under center for the team.

It was the fifth time in his career that he finished a season with a winning record and he had some monster statistics as well. He threw for the third-most yards in a single season in his career and tied for the most touchdowns.

It all culminated in an NFC West division crown and the first playoff wins of his career. Now, he will be looking to top off the magical season with a Super Bowl victory at the team’s home field of SoFi Stadium.
