The Denver Broncos defeated the Oakland Raiders 20-19, making them 2-0 to begin the year. The Broncos won off of a field goal with just six seconds left in regulation. This is the second straight week where the Broncos won a game decided by three or fewer points.

In the end, though, a win is a win. The Broncos sit atop the AFC West tied with the Kansas City Chiefs after Week 2. In an AFC West that is up for grabs this season, wins against a division rival are crucial. The Broncos took care of business, especially late in the game to get the job done.

With the Chiefs winning Week 2 in incredible fashion. 42-37 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Broncos need every win to keep up with them. The Broncos pulled out another close win but will need to correct some mistakes going forward to reach their full potential.

Denver can be very good if the offense can match the defense’s intensity and level of production. The offense seems to be getting more and more in sync with quarterback Case Keenum under center. As such, the Broncos offense should get more into a rhythm as the season goes on.

In Week 2, there were a few standout performances from the Broncos in their victory over the Raiders, so let’s look at the top three performers here.
