Von Miller: 5 Tackles, 1 Sack
Von Miller is a edge-rushing player that needs no introduction. Miller is arguably the best pass-rusher in the NFL. The three-time All-Pro started the season off the year with three sacks in Week 1 against the Seattle Seahawks against the Raiders.
The Raiders boast one of the better offensive lines in the NFL. Miller said earlier this week, he believes they do indeed have the best line in the NFL.
That may be up for discussion, but Miller being a one-man wrecking crew is not.
Miller finished Week 2’s game with five tackles and a sack on Raiders quarterback Derek Carr. He was in Carr’s face for a decent part of the game, causing Carr to get the ball out of his hands fast. This quietly changed the way the game was played, especially offensively for the Raiders. Carr had a solid game but his team came up short in the end.
Of course Miller didn’t have a crazy performance like last week, but still put his mark on this week’s game. Miller seems to be on a mission to lead the NFL in sacks this season and may be looking for the Defensive Player of the Year Award.
