Then last year happened, and the optimism has all but silenced in Cleveland. It’s understandable, Browns fans have seen this movie far too many times. One promising year, followed by three to four disappointing years, rinse and repeat.

It’s easy to write them off, but Baker Mayfield and his Browns have a real shot to surge into NFL relevancy again in 2020. Not only is his offensive supporting cast top notch, he finally has an offensive mind in Kevin Stefanski who is capable of getting the most out of it.
