Heading into last season, the expectations were lofty for the Cleveland Browns. Baker Mayfield was coming off a strong rookie campaign and Odell Beckham Jr. was paired with Jarvis Landry to form an impressive duo. They appeared primed for a playoff run.

The Browns ended up ranking just 22nd in the NFL in total yards of offense and points scored during the 2019 season. That complete lack of execution played a pivotal role in Cleveland finishing with a 6-10 record and third in the AFC North standings.

It was a busy offseason for the Browns when it came to adding talent on offense. They quickly kicked free agency off by signing standout tight end Austin Hooper. Cleveland placed a strong emphasis on the offensive line by signing Jack Conklin and drafting Jedrick Wills Jr.

In order for the Browns to turn things around, it’s vital their offense can live up to the original expectations. The talent is undoubtedly there for a thriving passing attack and ground game. It will be up to head coach Kevin Stefanski to bring the best out of the unit.

With that being said, let’s take a look at four bold predictions for the Cleveland Browns’ offense in 2020.
