No. 3: The Offense has shown explosiveness
Entering the season, Cleveland had a quarterback controversy — whether to start offseason acquisition Tyrod Taylor or the No. 1 overall draft pick, Baker Mayfield. Taylor has shown in the first two weeks, with him under center, this offense is explosive and can score quickly.
In Week 1, Taylor orchestrated two touchdown drives in the final six minutes of the fourth quarter to wipe out a 14-point deficit. During Week 2 with just over a minute left, on 4th-and-5, Taylor and rookie wide receiver Antonio Callaway connected on a 47-yard touchdown pass. Over the last two weeks, they’ve shown they can score quickly when necessary.
Here’s a look at the Taylor-to-Callaway touchdown pass:

Callaway has been very impressive thus far. He is the perfect complement to star wide receiver Jarvis Landry. Callaway is the deep-play threat the Browns thought now-New England Patriots wideout Josh Gordon was going to be for them this season.
Head coach Hue Jackson has been very impressed with Callaway and how he has elevated his play. “For him to go and track that ball down like he did, wow!, that kid can run.” said Jackson.
Even though in two weeks of play the Browns are winless, they’ve shown two things. First, that they have an opportunistic defense. Secondly, their offense can be explosive with the talented offensive arsenal surrounding Taylor.
Improve on a poor special teams and the Browns are a complete team who are still playoff contenders this season.
