Buccaneers: 3 Reasons Why Tampa Bay Is No Fluke

Brett Davis-USA TODAY Sports

Ryan Fitzpatrick is playing out of his mind

Embrace yourself in all of the “Fitzmagic” you can. We don’t know how much longer we will have it. The 35-year-old Arizona native is on a tear to start his season. After two games, he has racked up 819 yards and eight touchdowns. Encompassed with a quarterback rating of 151.5, Fitzpatrick is leading this Bucs’ team toward a successful season while he has the chance.

With Winston’s suspension coming to an end, head coach Dirk Koetter is left with an incredibly tough decision. Does he ride the “Fitzmagic” train until the wheels fall off? Or does he put the franchise quarterback in once his suspension is over?

I am glad I don’t have to make that call, which could ultimately push or derail the Bucs for the remainder of the season. If Fitzpatrick can lead the Bucs to an undefeated record and keep posting these insane stats, I see no way you bench him.
