The Tampa Bay Buccaneers could not be more excited to get the 2020 NFL season started. After making the huge move to sign Tom Brady in the offseason, the offense is expected to be lethal. With targets like Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, and Rob Gronkowski, Brady is going to be very happy.

It has been a long time since Brady had the kind of weapons that he will have this year. He is already looking great and Evans could not be more excited to work with him.

During a recent quote shared by ESPN’s Jenna Laine, Evans gave a glowing first impression of his new quarterback.

“Already up there as of my favorite teammates even though we’ve only had a few practices together. He’s trying to turn me into a living legend as well.”

Evans has worked with Jameis Winston throughout his career. That alone would make the leap to Brady a big step in the right direction. Brady is a much more accurate quarterback and will make life much easier on his wide receivers.

During the 2019 season with the Buccaneers, Evans once again proved that he is an elite NFL wide receiver. He racked up 67 receptions for 1,157 yards and eight touchdowns. Those numbers came despite the fact that he missed three games.

At just 26 years old, the sky is the limit for Mike Evans with Brady. Even with the quarterback being 43 years old, he still has plenty of good football left in him. The Buccaneers strongly believe that Brady can lead them back to Super Bowl contention.

Expect to see the offense play a very exciting brand of football. Tom Brady can’t sling the football deep like he used to, but Evans gives him exactly the kind of weapon that he needs. The Buccaneers are going to be a threat this season.
