Cardinals: 4 goals for Arizona in the 2020 NFL season

Finish with a winning record

Like many teams that have landed an All-Pro talent in recent seasons, the Cardinals are faced with an immense amount of pressure in 2020. At the same time, it’s worth mentioning that Arizona plays in arguably the toughest division in the NFC West. Provided that, it might be wise to tone down expectations for the Cardinals next season.

Five out of the last eight years, a team in the NFC West has played in the Super Bowl. On the other hand, the Cardinals haven’t advanced to the postseason since 2015. Also, their last Super Bowl appearance came in 2008 versus the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Above all, the Cardinals haven’t produced a winning record since their last appearance in the playoffs in 2015. Regardless of the projections placed on them by media pundits, it’s practical for Arizona to seek a winning record in 2020. Then, moving forward, the Cardinals can begin having playoff aspirations.
