5. Philadelphia Eagles
The defending Super Bowl champs have struggled in the secondary for some time. After being ranked 17th in defending the pass last year, as they’ve dropped to 24th so far in their 2018 campaign.
A lot of this can be attributed to the defensive backs having issues. Jalen Mills has been problematic at times this season. And Sidney Jones and Ronald Darby are unable to take up their roles as number one and two cornerbacks in their own rights. Not to mention Malcolm Jenkins is north of 30 and Rodney McLeod is underperforming as well.
They’re in desperate need of a talented cornerback like Peterson to bolster this team and get them out of their Super Bowl hangover. Luckily enough, they have the draft picks to get the Cardinals defensive back, as well as players to give Arizona.
The Eagles are projected to draft 13th overall in the upcoming draft and even use an additional pick to provide more depth to Arizona’s draft.
Remember that Arizona is unwilling to give him away anytime soon.
Trade Scenario: Eagles get Peterson in exchange for a 2019 first-round pick and 2020 fourth-round pick
