It is easy to forget about the Arizona Cardinals in the NFC West with the rise of the Los Angeles Rams and the hype surrounding the San Francisco 49ers.

Though they are not viewed as contenders, the Cardinals still have significant areas of strength.

Arizona is heading into the 2018 NFL season with the goal of proving that they belong in playoff consideration. Sam Bradford is currently slated as the starting quarterback, but the Cardinals also have a talented rookie, Josh Rosen, who will push for playing time.

Add in star running back David Johnson returning from injury and star receiver Larry Fitzgerald back for another season and the Cardinals are an intriguing team to keep an eye on in the NFC.
