3. Quarterback
The overriding question with the often-injured Sam Bradford is whether he can hold up behind a shaky offensive line. Yet there is no doubt he has one of the better arms in the NFL and can also excel in the short passing game, as a 2016 season in which he set a then-league record for completion percentage demonstrated.
Pressing to win the starting job from him is Josh Rosen, who entered the league as the most pro-ready quarterback in the draft.
Having dropped to the 10th overall pick, Rosen will have plenty to prove and won’t be short of confidence should he take the reins.
Third-stringer Mike Glennon is worthy of the backhanded compliment of being one of the best emergency options in the league. The Cardinals will hope he will not have to be called upon despite the injury and inexperience concerns surrounding their top two.
