DJ Moore, Wide Receiver
A few weeks ago, rookie wide receiver DJ Moore lost two fumbles in the Panthers’ 23-17 loss to the Washington Redskins. But on Sunday he showed why the team has so much faith in him, catching five passes for 90 yards.
Moore was also a factor on the ground, amassing 39 yards on two carries. However, one of those carries could have been a disaster if he hadn’t caught a pitch on the bounce and turned it into a 28-yard gain:

The 21-year-old has been compared to Panthers legend Steve Smith, with outings like the one he had against Baltimore expected to be the norm when Carolina selected him in the opening round of this year’s NFL Draft.
Panthers quarterback Cam Newton said the following after the game, via ESPN.com’s David Newton:
“DJ is such an exceptional talent and dynamic player with the ball in his hands. We have to find ways to get the ball in his hands.”
Newton and the Panthers did just that on Sunday, even if it took an assist from the ground to do so on one play.
