CBS Sports names four free agency targets for the Los Angeles Rams

Kyle Van Noy, ILB, New England Patriots

It’s no secret the Patriots put together a highly impressive 2019 season on the defense. A key reason for that was the presence of Kyle Van Noy in their linebacking corps.

Racking up 56 combines tackles, 58 QB pressures, and 6.5 sacks last season, Van Noy made his presence felt. He has emerged as one of the top hybrid defenders in the league with his impact not only as a pass rusher, but in pass coverage and as a run stopper.

There will be no shortage of suitors of Van Noy’s services and that could make it rather difficult for the Rams to sign him. It’s difficult to find linebackers that are as versatile as him and that will naturally lead to heavy interest.
