Chad Johnson Reveals Hilarious Thoughts On Bengals’ Ja’Marr Chase

Former Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chad Johnson has a larger-than-life personality. When playing, he was coming up with creative ways to celebrate his scores and even in retirement you can see him having a good time interacting with people on social media.

While he enjoyed having a good time, he still always brought it when he was on the field. In his heyday, he was among the best wide receivers in the NFL. He surpassed the 1,000-yard plateau seven times in his career, including 1,369 yards during the 2006 season which led the NFL.

Johnson spent the first 10 seasons of his career with the Bengals and is their all-time leading receiver with 751 receptions and 10,783 yards. He caught 66 touchdowns as well, which is also a franchise record.

Ochocinco is one of the best players in the history of the franchise, but his receiving records could be in peril. With schedules expanding to 17 games, there are a lot of marks that could be surpassed in the coming years. But, even if the schedule had stayed at 16 games, Ja’Marr Chase looks like he would give those records a run for their money.

Johnson recently revealed his thoughts on Chase and in typical fashion, gave only a response he would think of. Many Bengals fans will love the wording he chose.

Chase, the No. 5 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, had an incredible rookie season. He caught 81 passes for a single-season franchise record 1,455 yards to go along with 13 touchdowns. Chase teaming up with his college teammate, Joe Burrow, made for some incredible chemistry right off the bat and some gaudy statistics as well.

Cincinnati is hoping that the duo can continue producing big numbers like that for years to come. After making a surprise run to the Super Bowl this year, expectations are only going to get higher for the LSU duo.
