Chicago Bears: 3 Best Performances from Week 4 Win vs. Buccaneers

Tarik Cohen, Running Back

Second-year running back Tarik Cohen was a huge weapon for the Bears on Sunday. In addition to his seven catches for 121 yards and a TD, he also gained 43 yards on 13 carries.

Making Cohen’s performance even more impressive is the fact that he isn’t even Chicago’s featured back. That role belongs to Jordan Howard, who didn’t see as much action in Week 4 due to the Bears’ big lead.

Nonetheless, Cohen made the most of his opportunity and proved that perhaps he deserves more chances going forward. If nothing else, he is definitely a great change-of-pace back behind Howard.

Regardless of what his role ends up being in the future, Cohen was certainly a key contributor for the Bears on Sunday. He accounted for nearly one-third of their 483 yards of offense against the Buccaneers, and was a major reason why they were able to put up their highest point total since 2012 (a 51-20 win over the Tennessee Titans).
