Chicago Bears: 5 Reasons They Can Win Super Bowl 53

4. Outstanding offensive line play

The Bear’s offensive line is one of its biggest strengths and a huge reason behind their newfound success. As the saying goes, the game is won and lost in the trenches, and the Bears never lose in the trenches.

The offensive front features several supremely talented guys, none more so than Kyle Long. Although Long was unfortunately placed on the Injured Reserve and will miss the remainder of the season, the unit is holding up without him.

From left to right the Bears are lining up with Charles Leno, James Daniels, Cody Whitehair, Bryan Witzmann and Bobby Massie. That group dominated the Lions defensive line today, and it wasn’t even close to competitive.

Without question, this offensive line is cruising even without their best player, and that bodes well moving forward. The offensive line opens up the running game, dictates the passing offense, and overall, determines the tempo of the game. With such a solid unit blocking for the playmakers, the Bears are more than capable of making a deep run in the playoffs with their eyes set on the Super Bowl.
