There has been no team that has enjoyed the calendar year of 2020 more than the Kansas City Chiefs. They won a Super Bowl back in February and had an offseason that saw many of their big name players sign contract extensions.

Kansas City made sure that their franchise quarterback would not go anywhere for a long, long time. They signed Patrick Mahomes to a massive 10-year contract worth up to $503 million. The Chiefs also agreed to terms with Chris Jones and Travis Kelce.

The team is making sure that their core pieces will remain in town for the upcoming years in hopes of building the next great dynasty. That dynasty could come into form in 2020.

The Chiefs’ offense is expected to be the top in football. They used the final pick in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft on Clyde Edwards-Helaire. He will look to become the next great running back under Andy Reid. This is just another weapon for Mahomes to work with, joining Kelce, Tyreek Hill, Mecole Hardman, and Sammy Watkins.

With the season less than two weeks away, there is still time to make some moves. If the Chiefs decide they want to, here are four options they should look into.
