Eli Apple, Cornerback, New Orleans Saints

One thing became clear for the Chiefs throughout the 2019 NFL season. They could more talent at the cornerback position.

Kansas City won’t need to spend big money on the position, but bringing in a guy or two would make sense. Eli Apple isn’t going to cost a ton in free agency and would be worth a gamble. He recorded 58 tackles, one forced fumble, and four defended passes in 2019.

Apple could come in and compete for a role for the Chiefs’ defense. He may not end up starting, but would provide great depth and young talent at just 24 years old.
