Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill reveals insane number he’s hoping to achieve in 2020

Kansas City Chiefs superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill has become one of the most entertaining players to watch in the NFL. Not only is he an entertainer, he is a player that very few defensive backs can stick with.

Looking ahead to the upcoming 2020 NFL season, Hill is targeting an insane statistical goal. He is hoping to rack up 2,000 receiving yards. That number would absolutely unheard of, but he thinks it’s a possibility.

In a quote shared by Chiefs Kingdom on Twitter, Hill opened up a bit about the goal and what he must do in order to have a chance at achieving it.

Last season, Hill missed some time and only ended up playing in 12 games. He caught 58 passes for 860 yards and seven touchdowns in those appearances. In the playoffs, Hill racked up 17 receptions for 213 yards and two touchdowns.

Kansas City will need bigger numbers from Hill this season. Patrick Mahomes just received a massive contract and is primed for another huge year. Hill is his go-to wide receiver and that bodes well for his big goal.

Granted, reaching 2,000 receiving yards likely won’t end up happening. It’s a number that seems unattainable in a 16-game season. However, if there was one player capable of reaching that goal, it would be the playmaking wide receiver.

Needless to say, it will be fun to see what Hill has in store this season. The Chiefs are going to lean heavily on him and he seems ready for an even bigger role than he has had in years past.

Being the defending champions is never an easy task. Kansas City will need their offense to step up even more if they want to repeat. Hill is one of the biggest factors that will decide where the Chiefs end up at the end of the year.

Expect to see more huge numbers from Tyreek Hill this season. Whether or not he can push for 2,000 receiving yards remains to be seen, but it is certainly an impressive goal to set.
