Indianapolis Colts

A team with immediate Super Bowl aspirations that could use an additional boost is the Indianapolis Colts. The timeline they are operating under is quite short with Philip Rivers at quarterback, signed to a one-year deal with hopes of playing just two more seasons.

They made an aggressive move earlier in the offseason to bolster the defensive line by trading the No. 13 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft for DeForest Buckner. It’s scary to think about how dynamic of a duo they’d have by pairing Chris Jones with Buckner.

With the type of pass-rush the Colts would have with Buckner and Jones, opposing quarterbacks would face serious heat in the middle of the pocket. The entirety of Indianapolis’ defense would benefit and that’s fascinating to think about for a talent like Darius Leonard at linebacker.
