From 2013-2018 Hilton averaged 131.3 targets per season and 136 targets per 16 games, with a high of 155 targets in 2016. In 2018, Luck’s only season in the last three between a shoulder injury and retirement, Hilton had 120 targets in 14 games.
The Colts’ offense should shift back toward the passing game this year, and better efficiency is a virtual certainty. Assuming full health after an offseason for his calf injury to heal, Hilton can be booked for at least 130 targets as the No. 1 receiver for Rivers.
