Colts: 3 reasons Indianapolis should go all-out to sign Philip Rivers

Heading into the upcoming NFL offseason, the Indianapolis Colts are going to be a fun team to keep an eye on. Chris Ballard has a lot of cap space to use and has quite a few positions that he could use it on. One of those positions would be at quarterback.

Since the end of the 2019 season, there have been rumors flying about the quarterback position for the Colts. Jacoby Brissett was solid, but he didn’t get the job done. Many don’t believe Indianapolis can build around him.

While the Colts may not be comfortable at quarterback, there are quite a few options they could turn to. Philip Rivers could very well be one of those options.

Rumors have been swirling that the Colts could end up pursuing Rivers this offseason. Rivers may be aging and only have a few years left in the NFL, but that could fit right into what Indianapolis needs.

All of that being said, let’s take a look at three reasons why the Colts should go all-out to sign Rivers this offseason.
