Rivers Needs To Play For A Championship Contender

Finally, if Rivers is going to leave the franchise that he has called home throughout his entire career, he will need to be heading to a better situation. That situation will have to include the opportunity to compete for a championship.

Indianapolis would be able to afford him and give him that opportunity. He would be given a fresh career view, which would be the rejuvenation that he needs to jumpstart everything.

Signing Rivers would be exactly what the franchise needs to take the next step. If they want to compete now, they need to do everything to bring him on board. However, if they choose to stick with Brissett for another year, they will be admitting that they aren’t ready to go all-in.
