Indianapolis Colts: 3 Bold Predictions for T.Y. Hilton in 2018

Shanna Lockwood-USA TODAY Sports

Hilton Will be Selected to his First All-Pro Team

There are several factors that go into deciding the all-pro selections. Just to lay some groundwork, there are eight possible spots for a receiver to be named to an All-Pro team. There are three receivers and 1 flex position on both the first and second teams.

Last year, there were six receivers named to the two All-Pro teams selected by the Associated Press (AP). Those six receivers averaged between them 97 receptions, 1, 379 receiving yards, and seven touchdowns. Hilton, with Luck at the helm, has averaged about 88 receptions for 1,354 yards and six touchdowns per 16 games. Those numbers easily get the star wideout into the discussion.

As I’m sure you’ve noticed, those numbers are all slightly below what the All-Pro receivers from 2017 averaged. However, with a new and improved offense and a returning Andrew Luck, the sky is the limit for number 13.
