Will Reach 33 Touchdown Passes

There were only four quarterbacks that managed to reach a total of 30 touchdown passes during the 2019 season. Prescott managed to slightly be one of the few passers to accomplish this feat.

It started with the league-leader Lamar Jackson (36) along with Jameis Winston (33), Russell Wilson (31), and lastly, Prescott (30). It’s worth noting, Drew Brees, Patrick Mahomes, and even Daniel Jones could have accomplished this feat had they started in all 16 games, too.

The 2020 season should be a season where Prescott can raise his game again with CeeDee Lamb now in the mix. Teams will have a difficult time being able to send extra defensive attention to Amari Cooper in coverage without risking Michael Gallup, Ezekiel Elliott, or Lamb taking advantage.

A number Prescott appears capable of reaching for touchdown throws in 2020 appears to be 33. If he were to achieve this figure, it would be the third most touchdown throws within a single-season in Cowboys franchise history.
