Leads NFL in Passing Yards

With the Tampa Bay Buccaneers no longer having Jameis Winston at quarterback, Dak Prescott appears primed to lead the NFL in passing yards in 2020. Last season, he already came close to accomplishing this feat with 4,902 passing yards.

Behind Prescott, the leaderboard featured a gap with Jared Goff (4,638), Philip Rivers (4,615), and Matt Ryan (4,466) next up. It was simply that nobody was catching Winston’s total of 5,109 passing yards considering how often he threw, in general, but particularly downfield.

There will be no shortage of options for the Cowboys to move the chains. The tone is set with Ezekiel Elliott’s rushing ability and proficiency to get across the first-down marker. Additionally, Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup, and CeeDee Lamb are all capable of making a play in space with versatility as route-runners.

When considering the circumstances, Dak Prescott appears primed to lead the NFL in passing yards. He has plenty of options to be able to connect with his receivers deep downfield in addition to hitting them on quick routes where they will be in a position to turn upfield.
