If the Cowboys want to win the NFC East and compete for a Super Bowl this season, the offense needs to get on the same page. The play-calling was questionable in Week 1, which was the complaint against Mike McCarthy during his final weeks as head coach of the Green Bay Packers.

However, the Cowboys still have a three-headed monster at wide receiver in Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup, and CeeDee Lamb. Dak Prescott has the potential to be an MVP candidate. Ezekiel Elliott is one of the top running backs in the NFL.

Without further delay, here are three bold predictions for the Cowboys this week as they take on the Falcons.

4. The Defense Holds Todd Gurley In Check

The Falcons had to like what they saw from Gurley last week against the Seattle Seahawks. He carried the football 14 times for 56 yards and a touchdown. Gurley wasn’t the superstar that he once was, but he showed potential, but the Cowboys will shut him down and allow just 40 rushing yards this week.

3. CeeDee Lamb Has His Breakout Performance

After falling to the Cowboys in the 2020 NFL Draft, Lamb put together a decent NFL debut with five receptions for 59 yards. Those numbers aren’t bad, but the rookie is more than capable of producing much bigger numbers. With the Falcons focusing on Cooper, Lamb will rack up eight receptions for 100 yards and a touchdown.

2. Dak Prescott Puts Together A Monster Game

McCarthy and Kellen Moore need to figure out how to get Prescott going this week. Thankfully, the Falcons have a poor defense and that bodes well for the star quarterback. Prescott will take full advantage of the matchup with a 325-yard and four touchdown performance.

1. Dallas Takes This Win In Blowout Fashion

Finally, the most important prediction is the final score. The Cowboys are going to get their season back on track with a blowout win over the Falcons. Everyone will get to calm down and the Cowboys will once again be talked about as a contender in the NFC.

We are predicting that the final score of this game will end up being 38-24 in favor of the Cowboys.
