Wide Receivers

This will be the most exciting trio of wide receivers in the NFL, and they play for the Dallas Cowboys. Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup and CeeDee Lamb bring the potential to have three players get near or exceed 1,000 yards receiving each, and that is just the tip of the iceberg.

If all three of these wide receivers are able to stay on the field this season they will set record-breaking numbers on offense because the potential they have can be that good.

Cooper is coming off a season in 2019 where he caught for 1,189 yards with eight touchdown receptions and 79 receptions to his credit. In his second season, Gallup collected 66 receptions for 1,107 yards and six touchdown receptions. Then there is Lamb, who could become the best wide receiver on the team as a rookie.

Lamb was drafted 17th overall in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft. While at Oklahoma for three seasons, Lamb totaled 173 receptions for 3,292 yards with 32 career touchdowns. In his final collegiate season, Lamb had 62 receptions for 1,327 yards and 14 touchdowns.

The excitement and expectations are there for Lamb, who is wearing the famed and legendary No. 88 Cowboys jersey, so if he’s never felt pressure before, he will this season while wearing the number made great by Drew Pearson, Michael Irvin and Dez Bryant.
