The Dallas Cowboys are coming off a disappointing 2019 season that featured narrowly losing the NFC East division-title to the Philadelphia Eagles. They will seek to bounce-back and will need strong production from tight end Blake Jarwin in the process.
In the Dallas Cowboys’ offense, Jarwin played a secondary role behind Jason Witten last season. He ended the 2019 season with 31 receptions, 365 receiving yards, and three touchdowns.
There was some change at the tight end position for the Cowboys earlier in the offseason. Dallas surprisingly lost Witten to the Las Vegas Raiders after he departed in free agency.
With the Cowboys not making a significant change at the tight end position, it reinforces the need for Jarwin to play a critical role in 2020. It will be a timely increase in his role considering the upcoming season will mark his fourth-year in the NFL.
Taking all of that into consideration, let’s take a look at what to expect from Blake Jarwin in 2020.
