Ezekiel Elliott, Running Back

Third-year running back Ezekiel Elliott accounted for two of the Cowboys’ three TDs against the Eagles. Both of those scores came in the fourth quarter, one on a 7-yard pass from Dak Prescott and the other on a 1-yard run that would turn out to be the game-winning TD.

In addition to his two TDs, Elliott also accounted for 187 total yards of offense. He finished with 19 carries for 151 yards, and he also caught six passes for 36 yards.

Elliott now has 831 rushing yards and four TDs on the ground in 2018. He is currently the NFL’s second leading rusher, but he also has 35 receptions for 362 yards and two scores.

If Dallas had a better record and there weren’t so many quarterbacks deserving of earning league MVP honors, Elliott would likely be in the discussion. He is undoubtedly the Cowboys’ MVP, and he displayed his immense talent again on Sunday night.
