The Dallas Cowboys’ offense was dynamic in 2019. They led the NFL in total yards per game and Dak Prescott finished second in passing yards. They made some improvements in 2020 which means this unit will be strong once again.

Ezekiel Elliott will return in the backfield as one of the top running backs in the NFL. Prescott will earn $31.4 million after signing his franchise tender for 2020. Amari Cooper is another offensive weapon that received a massive contract. Dallas locked up their No. 1 receiver for five years to the tune of $100 million.

In the 2020 NFL Draft, the Cowboys stole Oklahoma wide receiver CeeDee Lamb when he fell to their pick. He will play a big role in this offense as a rookie. This offensive unit looks good without even mentioning Michael Gallup or the offensive line. Dallas will need their offense to put up big numbers once again if they want to top the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC East.

Head coach Mike McCarthy will have plenty of talent to work with in his first year on the sidelines in Dallas. Here are four bold predictions for the offense during the upcoming regular season.

  1. Agree with those predictions, o line needs to stay healthy, which has been a problem with 3 of their Premier linemen, Now to Defense…that may determine how far they go! Along with Covid 19 of course

  2. These predictions are pretty improbable other than Zeke. If the offense leads the league like they did last year then that will mean they are gaining large chunks of meaningless yardage while playing from behind. If they are truly a contender this year, they will be chewing up the clock in the 4th quarter and not necessarily gaining lots of yards. I think their yards will be less and they will be higher ranked on the scoring side. Tall order for Dak to hit 40 TDs, 35 would be a great year.
