Cowboys’ CeeDee Lamb Doesn’t Hold Back Wild Claim After Week 10 Win

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb put forth a monster performance in the Cowboys’ dominant win over the New York Giants on Sunday afternoon, logging 11 catches for 151 yards and a touchdown.

It marked Lamb’s third straight game with at least 11 receptions and also marked the fourth straight time he finished with over 100 yards receiving.

Lamb has also made history in the process, becoming the first player in NFL history to have 10 catches and 150 yards receiving in three consecutive contests.

Afterward, Lamb made a bold statement.

“I’m the top receiver in this game, and it’s no question about it,” said Lamb, according to Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News. “If there is, I’ll see you all again next week.”

Lamb faced some heavy criticism earlier in the season after a string of lackluster performances, particularly during Dallas’ blowout loss to the San Francisco 49ers back in Week 5 when he totaled just four grabs for 49 yards.

However, since then, Lamb has ramped things up, racking up 41 receptions for 617 yards and three touchdowns in his last four games.

On the season overall, Lamb has snared 68 balls for 975 yards and four scores.

The 24-year-old, who played his collegiate football at the University of Oklahoma, was selected by the Cowboys with the 17th overall pick of the 2020 NFL Draft.

He enjoyed an impressive rookie campaign, catching 74 passes for 935 yards and five touchdowns. The following year, he registered 79 catches for 1,102 yards and six scores. He one-upped himself again last season, hauling in 107 receptions for 1,359 yards while reaching the end zone nine times.

CeeDee Lamb has made the Pro Bowl in each of the last two seasons.

Dallas improved to 6-3 with its Week 10 win and will take on the Carolina Panthers next Sunday.
