Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is lucky to have wide receiver CeeDee Lamb at his disposal, and after Lamb’s monster Week 17 performance, Prescott seems well aware of that.

Lamb logged 13 catches for 227 yards and a 92-yard touchdown during the Cowboys’ win over the Detroit Lions on Saturday night, and in the process, he broke two single-season records—receptions and receiving yards—that were previously held by legendary wide out Michael Irvin.

But Prescott thinks that Lamb is far from done.

“He’s really just getting going and I can tell you as long as I’m here, he’ll probably stack these records and each and every year, to be honest with you,” said Prescott, via Dallas’ official YouTube account.

On the season overall, Lamb has hauled in 122 receptions (which leads the NFL) for 1,651 yards and 10 touchdowns.

“It’s a surreal moment,” Lamb said of setting the records, via Charean Williams of Pro Football Talk. “Obviously, shout out to my guys. We continue to work, continue to build and continue to grow. It showed I wouldn’t be able to do any of this without them. We’re looking forward to keeping it going.”

Lamb, who played his collegiate football at the University of Oklahoma, was selected by the Cowboys with the 17th overall pick of the 2020 NFL Draft.

He enjoyed an impressive rookie campaign, catching 74 passes for 935 yards and five scores. He then showed improvement the following season, snaring 79 balls for 1,102 yards while reaching the end zone six times. That earned him a trip to the Pro Bowl.

Last season, Lamb continued to grow, registering 107 grabs for 1,359 yards and nine touchdowns, making another Pro Bowl appearance.

But 2023 has truly represented a breakout year for the 24-year-old, and now we can all safely say that Lamb is one of the best receivers in all of football.

The Cowboys improved to 11-5 with their victory over the Lions, and thanks to the Philadelphia Eagles’ loss to the Arizona Cardinals, they now sit in first place in the NFC East.

If Dallas beats the Washington Commanders next weekend, it will win the division title. Of course, CeeDee Lamb and Co. have their sights set on much bigger goals.
