Corey Brown, Wide Receiver
Finally, wide receiver Corey Brown is ready for a breakout season after having to miss the 2017 season. He played with the Carolina Panthers in 2017 and caught 27 passes for 276 yards and a touchdown. Brown may not be a big name, but he could have a big impact for the Broncos in 2018.
Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders are the two names that you think of when thinking about the Broncos’ wide receivers. Perhaps rookie wide receiver Courtland Sutton comes to mind as well.
Standing in at 5-foot-11 and 190 pounds, Brown brings speed and route-running to the table. Keenum did very well with another fast, undersized receiver last season in Stefon Diggs. We’re certainly not saying that Brown is comparable to Diggs, but he has a chance to find a connection with Keenum on a few of the same long balls that Diggs caught last season.
Brown is looking to get his NFL career back on the road and having a breakout season in Denver would do just that.
