Could the Denver Broncos potentially bring back Von Miller this coming offseason?

Miller is currently under contract with the Buffalo Bills, but he has been a major disappointment since signing a six-year, $120 million deal with the team in 2022.

There is speculation that the Bills could potentially release Miller after the season, which would clear the way for the Broncos to bring the pass rusher back home.

Henry Chisholm of DNVR Sports is predicting that Miller will ultimately sign a minimum contract with Denver if he is released by Buffalo. The reason is because Miller’s current contract with the Bills says that whatever a new team pays him will be deducted from what Buffalo owes him, so he will be making the amount of money regardless of how much he signs for.

Miller has played in 11 games this season but has logged just three tackles in a very limited role. In his debut campaign with the Bills last year, he appeared in 11 contests and registered 21 tackles and eight sacks before tearing his ACL.

The Texas A&M product will turn 35 years old in March and has a serious injury in his rearview mirror, so it remains to be seen how much he actually has left in the tank. If his production this season is any indication, it may not be much.

However, Miller had a storied run with the Broncos between 2011 and 2021, making eight Pro Bowl appearances, earning three First-Team All-Pro selections and, most importantly, helping lead the team to a Super Bowl title during the 2015-16 campaign.

Denver proceeded to trade Miller to the Los Angeles Rams midway through the 2021 season, and that year, he ultimately collected another Super Bowl ring with the Rams.

The Broncos need a whole lot of help this coming offseason, but perhaps signing Von Miller as a blast from the past will at least give the fans a nice feeling.
