Devonta Freeman free agency: 3 potential landing spots ahead of 2020 season

On Tuesday, ESPN’s Adam Schhefter reported that free agent running back Devonta Freeman has hired agent Drew Rosenhaus to represent him.

The veteran running back has had seasons in which he’s been highly productive. However, teams still remain dragging their feet when showing interest in the free-agent rusher over the last few months.

“We want to work out a deal in the immediate future, and we are open to any team,” Rosenhaus said in a statement on Tuesday. “He’s healthy, he’s in shape, and I’m on a mission to have him give a team a lift in late July.”

Freeman is coming off a 2019 campaign that would be considered a down year for his standards. His best season may already be behind him at this point but his skillset still appears as one that can help a backfield as a rotational rusher.

So which teams makes sense as a viable landing spot for Freeman?
